By default you can collect the following info from your clients during the booking process:
- Name (required)
- Email (required)
- Phone (optional)
- Notes (optional)
If you would like to collect more info from your customers during the booking process, you can add additional questions using Forms.
ℹ️ The form questions appear on a separate page in the booking process between choosing the date and adding the contact info.
ℹ️ You can make the Phone number required for booking in your Scheduling rules.
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your Admin page.
- Go to Forms
- Select if you’d like to add forms for 1-on-1 services or Group services using the tabs on the top of the page.
- Click on the “Add form” button.
- Select the service where the form should apply using the dropdown. You can select all your services or a specific service.
- Use the checkbox if only want first-time customers to fill out the form.
- Decide what kind of question you’d like to add:
- Short text: Ask for a short written answer.
- Multiple choice: Let people choose one or more options. By default, people can choose only one option, but you can allow them to choose more options using the toggle “Choose as many options as you like”.
- Enter your question.
- Add options if it’s a multiple choice question.
- Optionally, you can mark your question as required using the toggle next to the question.
- Click on the “Preview” button in the upper right corner to preview your question.
- Once you’re done editing, click on the “Save” button in the upper right corner.
